Sourpuss Face but a Golden Heart

Meet Blanche, one of the sweetest Persians we have ever met.  Blanche was impounded at Animal Control as a stray after she showed up inside someone's home by letting herself in through the doggie door!  In case you can't tell by her pictures she is horribly matted.  Not only that, but her teeth are badly infected.  Due to her smooshed in face, her bottom canine tooth is poking in to her gums along the top teeth.  You wouldn't know this cat is in pain from her tight knots and her bad teeth; she will talk to you, give you head butts and wants a snuggle.  Fortunately for Blanche, we're going to get her all fixed up.  First she'll get her horrible coat shaved down, get a bath and then off to the vet to have her teeth cleaned (she is already spayed and has been declawed).  It's not possible to make her a nicer cat since she's already an angel but we'll all be so happy to see her out of pain and we'll be overjoyed to see her go home!  If you'd like to help Blanche get the grooming and medical care she needs, please click here.
