HALO Animal Rescue and our President, Heather Allen, were selected to be featured on the show Visionaries for a half-hour documentary airing tonight on PBS.  The show profiles people who are making amazing changes in their communities to make the world a better place. 

The documentary takes you behind the scenes at HALO and describes the process by which we save animals in danger of being euthanized, showing the extraordinary dedication of the people who make HALO's work possible along the way.  It is a wonderful explanation of the problems that animals in our community face, what we're doing to help solve them, and the sweet fuzzy faces that make it all worthwhile.  Many of our staff and volunteers are in the documentary, too!
